Georges Gatogato to officiate Gold Stars v JS Kabylie clash

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced the officiating team for Bibiani Gold Stars FC’s TotalEnergies CAF Champions League preliminary-round first-leg encounter with JS Kabylie, scheduled for Sunday, 21 September 2025, at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Georges Gatogato of Burundi will serve as centre referee, assisted by compatriots Emery Niyongabo (Assistant Referee I) and Olivier Nibogora (Assistant Referee II). Bertrand Manirakiza, also from Burundi, has been appointed as the fourth official.
Additionally, Alhaji Babagana Kalli Kalli of Nigeria will act as Match Commissioner for the fixture.
The Ghanaian champions will be aiming for a strong start as they face the Algerian side in this crucial first-leg preliminary-round tie of the continent’s premier club competition.
The winner of the two-legged tie will progress to face either Sierra Leone’s East End Lions or Tunisia’s OR US Monastir in the next stage of the qualifiers.
