A leading member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Henry Quartey, has publicly endorsed Boakye Kyerematen Agyarko for the position of National Chairman of the party, as he marked his birthday.
In a goodwill message issued on behalf of the “Boakye Agyarko 4 National Chairman” campaign team worldwide, Mr. Quartey described the former Energy Minister as a “remarkable academic, politician, and true inspiration,” whose commitment to unity and dedicated service continues to impact many.
He noted that Mr. Agyarko’s mentorship has instilled hope and confidence in a brighter future for party members and supporters, adding that his leadership qualities make him well-suited to steer the NPP forward.
Mr. Quartey further expressed the hope that delegates of the party would elect Mr. Agyarko as the next National Chairman in the upcoming internal elections, emphasizing the need for strong and disciplined leadership within the party.
According to him, such leadership would position the NPP as a formidable political force capable of supporting its 2028 presidential ambition, particularly in backing Mahamudu Bawumia to secure victory at the polls.
