Boakye Agyarko Woos Bono East NPP Executives in Chairmanship Bid

Story by Eugene Nyarko Jnr.—

Aspiring National Chairman of the New Patriotic Party, Boakye Agyarko, has intensified his nationwide stakeholder engagements with a meeting involving the Bono East Regional Council of Elders and Patrons, Regional Executives, Constituency Executives and other key party stakeholders.

The engagement formed part of Mr. Agyarko’s ongoing campaign to outline his vision for rebuilding the party and positioning it for victory in the 2028 general elections.

Addressing party faithful, Mr. Agyarko underscored the importance of unity and reconciliation, stressing that the NPP’s return to power would depend on its ability to heal internal divisions, rebuild trust and bring all members on board.

He urged party members to forgive one another, close ranks and place the collective interest of the party above individual differences as preparations for the 2028 polls gather momentum.

The aspiring chairman also identified welfare as a key pillar of his campaign, acknowledging the sacrifices made by party officers and grassroots activists over the years in sustaining the party.

According to him, practical welfare initiatives that recognise commitment, reward service and motivate members at all levels of the party would be prioritised under his leadership.

Mr. Agyarko expressed appreciation to the Bono East Regional leadership, elders, patrons, constituency executives and grassroots members for what he described as a warm reception and constructive engagement.

He reaffirmed his commitment to building a united, disciplined and winning NPP capable of reclaiming power in the next general elections.
