By Eugene Nyarko Jnr.
Aspiring National Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr. Boakye Agyarko, has called on party faithful to forgive one another, put aside their differences and unite behind former Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia to secure victory for the party in the next general elections.
The appeal was made during Mr. Agyarko’s engagements with constituency executives across the Asante Akyem North, South and Central constituencies as part of his ongoing campaign tour of the Ashanti Region.
Addressing party executives and grassroots members, Mr. Agyarko stressed the need for unity and reconciliation within the party, describing cohesion as critical to the NPP’s chances of returning to power.
He also met executives from Bekwai, Manso Nkwanta, Manso Adubia, Odotobiri, Bosome Freho, Akrofuom, Obuasi East, Obuasi West, New Edubiase, Adansi Asokwa and Fomena constituencies, where he reiterated his commitment to improving the welfare of party members.

According to him, he would work closely with Dr. Bawumia to ensure the effective implementation of welfare policies aimed at supporting the party’s grassroots base.
Mr. Agyarko further pledged to mobilise resources to retool constituency, regional and national party offices to improve efficiency, strengthen party structures and enhance productivity across all levels of the NPP.
He expressed appreciation to constituency executives and party faithful in the various areas visited for what he described as their enthusiastic reception and endorsement of his vision for the party.
The aspiring chairman was accompanied on the tour by his Campaign Manager, former Greater Accra Regional Minister, Hon. Henry Quartey, and other members of his campaign team.
